Do I need end slats for my wall?
End slats provide a clean finish, hiding the felt on the sides of the panels. While end slats are not always necessary, they are recommended when only part of the wall is covered. For wall-to-wall panels, end slats are usually not needed. If the side of the panel is visible, you can use an end slat for a neat finish.
Note: On the right side of the wall panel, a piece of felt sticks out, while this is not the case on the left side. To attach the end slat to the side with the protruding felt, simply place the slat next to the panel. On the other side, an additional piece of felt should be added. Cut the last strip of the wall panel with a sharp knife so that a piece of felt sticks out, and then the end slat can be placed on the cut edge. If you prefer both sides to be even, you can trim the protruding felt. However, keep in mind that the felt will always be visible on the side since the slats are mounted over the felt.
